It's after the success of the Stamford project

A filmmaker who made a toy-town 'miniaturisation' of Stamford is hoping to start working on a Rutland sequel this year.

Rich Beach spent nearly 8 weeks of his spare time working on the tiny depiction of the town, which has since been watched by thousands of people on social media.

The man behind the project says work for his latest venture could start this year: "I really do want to miniaturise Rutland."

"To tie it in with the idea of it being the UK's smallest county. I think if you do that, that makes sense of the concept or gives it a reason that justifies why you do that technique."

"Things like the viaduct and Belvoir Castle there are some great subject matters to shoot."

He added: "Obviously I want to continue making more of these because I think they're great fun. Expect to see more!"

"I'm hoping that the attention will lead to somebody asking me to make a few more of these hopefully - and get paid for them, that would be nice!

"...I do have to pay the rent!"

Rich Beach says he's contacted Rutland County Council and is hoping to start work on the new project later this year.
