This years Lincolnshire show has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society Board said after a review "it is with much regret and sadness that we announce that the next Lincolnshire Show will now take place in 2022 rather than in 2021 as planned"

Organisers say they have done everything they could to try and get the show underway this year. But with concerns around coronavirus restrictions for large events, it was felt the most responsible thing to do was to postpone until next year.

"We have continued to monitor the Coronavirus situation and whilst the vaccination programme is progressing well, it has become evident that it is unfeasible to run the Lincolnshire Show this year due to ongoing uncertainty"

They say it's been a very difficult decision to make, but felt it was right for the safety of all involved as well as to keep protecting the NHS.

During 2021, there will be a range of smaller events created to support the events charitable objectives .

They say they look forward to welcoming everyone to the Lincolnshire Show on 22nd & 23rd June 2022.
