Suspected car arson in Peterborough

There's been a suspected car arson in Peterborough.

At 2.35am today (16 January), a crew from Stanground along with Stamford (Lincolnshire) were called to a car fire on A1 near Wittering.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters put out the fire, using a hose reel and returned to their station by 7am.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police here to submit an online report, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
