Stamford firefighters help lorry driver from cab after A1 crash

Firefighters from Stamford have had to help a lorry driver from their cab, after a crash on the A1 yesterday lunchtime.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue says it was called at 12.43pm, with reports of a one HGV collision near Colsterworth.

Crews from Stamford, Grantham and Corby attended, and assisted the driver from the lorry cab.

They were then treated by an air ambulance crew.
