Stamford attempted murder: Police release man arrested on suspicion of affray

Police in Stamford investigating an attempted murder on Tuesday night say they've released a man - who was detained on suspicion of affray - with no further action.

An 18-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder remains in custody.

When officers arrived at the scene at Stamford Bus Station at St Peter's Hill, they found a man in his 20s suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The attack took place at 10.16pm.
