Stamford area goes into Tier 3 of coronavirus as lockdown ends whilst Rutland is in Tier 2.

However many people in Stamford feel it's unfair to lump them in with the whole of Lincolnshire.

The Stamford area has now moved into Tier 3 of coronavirus restrictions as the second national lockdown comes to an end.

The measures were last night approved by MPs

However dozens of Tories voted against the Government.

Meanwhile Rutland moves into Tier 2.

Stamford being under the toughest restrictions has caused frustration amongst many businesses in the town.

Owners, as well as Council leaders are questioning why the area, which has lower rates than many places, has been put under the blanket of Lincolnshire in the tier system.

The Yard Soft play Centre in Stamford says they've been forced to close during their busiest time.
