Stamford and Rutland told to prepare for possible thunderstorms as warning issued
A yellow warning is in force today
We're being warned that Stamford and Rutland could see some 'hit and miss' thunderstorms today.
The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning across much of the country following days of heatwave conditions.
It says some areas could see torrential downpours and possible disruption.
The warning kicks in at 10am on Monday and runs through until the end of Tuesday, parts of our region are also affected by a further warning on Wednesday.
Hot conditions over the weekend led to multiple fires in our counties with services stretched once again.
