A church in Stamford has welcomed its first peregrine egg being laid.

All Saints installed a camera during the winter months, funded by donations from members of the congregation.

On social media, conservationist Tim Mackrill says it happened within minutes of a display screen being put up in the church.

Members of the public are being encouraged to go into the church to see live images of the Peregrine nest.

The video feed is expected to be available online within the next few weeks.
