Speedway: Panthers fixture against Wolves suspended due to flooding
The track was waterlogged after torrential downpour
The Peterborough Panthers were due to take on Wolverhampton last night, but the meeting was suspended after heavy torrential rain.
The track at Monmore Green was waterlogged.
In a post online, Wolves said it went from "sunshine to rain in less than 5 minutes" as crowds began to build.
A new date is yet to be confirmed.
It's a missed chance for Peterborough to gain some more points, as they currently sit bottom of the table.
Wolverhampton are in 2nd position.
The Panthers are due to visit Belle Vue next Monday (19th).
