Heavy snow causes travel chaos in Stamford and Rutland
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice

Heavy snow has brought treacherous conditions across Stamford and Rutland, with people urged to only travel if absolutely necessary.
Storm Larisa battered parts of the UK with gales and blizzards overnight, and the Met Office still has a number of warnings in place for snow and ice, including a yellow warning covering our region.
Met Office meteorologist Alex Burkill said: "The combination of heavy snow and gales is why we're likely to see blizzards and drifting snow which causes extra hazards on the roads."
"In places covered by amber warnings, there will be very difficult, treacherous conditions.
"Ideally, avoid travelling in those periods - but if you have to head out then be aware that journeys could take significantly longer."

Rutland County Council has suspended all bus services. The local authority released the following statement:
"Local bus services will not be operating in Rutland today, due to the snow. This applies to all public and school services operated by Rutland County Council."
"Other operators may also be affected. Parents are advised to check with schools and colleges for details of school closures."
Earlier East Midlands Airport had to shut its runway due to the conditions, but it's since reopened.
South Kesteven District Council also tweeted to say it has extended its Severe Weather Emergency Protocol until Monday.
The weather is expected to clear by the end of Friday, before then being replaced by another low pressure system, leading to a further yellow snow and ice warning for much of northern England and Scotland from 3pm on Saturday to 6am on Sunday.
