Rutland support service reveals concerns about eating disorders during lockdown.

They're worried about the impact.

It's feared lockdown has made things even more difficult for people living with eating disorders in Rutland.

This week marks Eating Disorder Awareness Week which looks to to educate and end the stigma around illnesses such as bulimia, anorexia, restrictive and binge eating.

Debbie Whight is the Clinical Team Manager for the Eating Disorders Service that covers Rutland.

She suggests if you have concerns about someone speak to them, but in a gentle understanding way.

Support is available on their website for anybody who may be affected by an eating disorder.
