Numerous roads across Rutland and Leicestershire are going to be patrolled to catch drivers speeding, with 3 in Oakham.
23 locations have been added to the list of areas which will be monitored by mobile cmaeras.
These are known as 'community concern sites' , which have been identified as having a history of speeding, and an increased number of casualties or residents raising concerns.
Speeding offence prosecutions increased significant in Leicestershire last year, with figures jumping from 2,524 in 2021 to 4,855 in 2022.
This 92% rise was the third highest increase nationally.
Jonathan Clarkson, from the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Safety Partnership, said they' are encouraging local people to contact them if they think they have a problem with excessive speeding in their communities.
He added: "This helps us identify those locations which will then be subject to a covert speed survey and if they meet our criteria they will qualify for mobile speed enforcement.”
In June, the local police force added a new speed camera van to its fleet of vehicles which is fitted with a 360 degree infrared camera.
