Nature lovers are being told the third and final osprey chick could hatch 'at any given moment' at Rutland Water.

Mum Mya laid her first egg 42 days ago at the Nature reserve.

Since then, two chicks have hatched there in recent days.

Abi Mustard from the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust says there's plenty to look forward to:

"We're also starting the osprey cruises up again from the 29th May.

"That's when we go out in the hope that we see some ospreys and if we're lucky enough, we'll see them fishing as well.

"We now have a self-sustaining population of ospreys, and I think that's why people here in Rutland are so passionate about it.

"Who can say that they've got an osprey nesting within a 5-10-minute drive of where they live?

"It's such an exciting time."
