There's been a rise in rural crime in Rutland in the last month.

Police in Rutland have launched Operation Vitality to tackle the issue.

In a video posted to social media, officer Joe Lloyd said:

"We have organised operation vitality, where officers will be out all around Rutland

What we are asking from people, is if you see something suspicious, vans etc that aren't normally on your property, especially in isolated areas, to call 101.

We need the help of the community to identify these offenders and deal with them."
