Oakham farm calls for pumpkins to be donated after Halloween
They can be fed to some of the animals at Rutland Farm Park
A farm in Oakham is asking people to donate their pumpkins once they are finished with them this Halloween.
Rutland Farm Park, which is an 18-acre working farm, has said they can be fed to their some of their animals, including pigs, goats, cows and alpacas.
They have said that as well as helping them to feed their animals, donating pumpkins also saved them from going to landfill.
The farm called it "environmental recycling".
But, they can only take plain pumpkins (none that have been painted or have glitter on) and the candle must be removed.
People can drop their pumpkins at the farm.
