Rutland family brace the cold weather to sleep in an igloo!
It took the family around 2 hours to build it
As snow fell on the ground earlier this week, many families across Rutland went out to enjoy it, by having snow ball fights, building snowmen and even building igloos.
One family even went the extra mile and slept in their igloo overnight!
Alex Asbridge and his sons spent around 2 hours building the Igloo.
Alex said:
"My wife suggested we make an igloo, which the boys thought would be fun, it was a bit of trial and error because we'd not done it before.
"A few people asked the boys if they were going to sleep in it, I think it was a bit of a joke to start off with, which they thought was actually quite a good idea and would be fun.
"The igloo was surprisingly warm! I'm sure if we were to build another one the boys would want to do it again."
