Rutland County Council is running their Summer Activity and Food Programme during the summer holidays, with demand expected to increase.

It kicks off on Monday 24th July and will run until Wed 30th August.

Across the county there will be free activity sessions with meals provided for children and young people, in reception to year 11 who are eligible for income related free school meals.

The council is issuing food vouchers for the school holidays as part of its Household Support Fund Policy.

Families and individuals of school age children who attend a school or college in Rutland, will be provided with a food voucher, if they are currently eligible for free school meals.

A £75 voucher per child will be issued via the child’s school. The voucher will be paid as a voucher before the start of each break.
