A by-election will take place in Rutland at the start of May, following to the resignation of the county councillor for Uppingham Ward.

The Green Party's Miranda Jones stood down earlier this month, so residents will go to the polls on Thursday 5th May.

Rutland County Council says nomination packs for candidates wishing to stand in the election are available from the Council’s Elections Office.
