A 13 year old boy from Rutland with kidney disease has completed a virtual walk the distance of Land's End to John o'Groats.

Charlie was diagnosed with a life-threatening chronic kidney disease 5 years ago.

He has since been through intensive daily treatment programmes and numerous medical procedures whilst awaiting a lifesaving kidney transplant.

He has also been working tirelessly to fundraise for Kidney Research UK, and raise awareness of organ donations.

Charlie has raised over £9,000 in his latest challenge, walking over 1,000 miles.

He has raised over £17,000 in total fundraising.
