RSPCA appeal for information after video of animal cruelty shared online

The RSPCA has described footage, appearing to show a woman punching and kicking a horse in Rutland, as "very upsetting".

The animal welfare charity is appealing for anyone with first hand information on the incident to come forward, after a video was circulated on social media.

Leicestershire Police have confirmed they're assisting the RSPCA with the investigation.

In a statement, the RSPCA said: "“This footage is really upsetting. We will always look into complaints made to us about animal welfare. We would urge anyone with first hand information about this incident to contact us on 0300 123 4999.”
