By-elections for seats on South Kesteven District Council take place today.

The elections will fill seats left by Councillors Bob Adams (Isaac Newton) and Dr Peter Moseley (Aveland).

Councillor Moseley resigned from his position last month, after accusing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of "going all Hitler" when introducing vaccine mandates.

Councillor Bob Adams died in November, aged 81, and had represented the Isaac Newton Ward since May 2007 - serving as leader of the SKDC from 2015-2017.

An additional vote will also take place to fill Councillor Adams' former Lincolnshire County Council Ward of Colsterworth Rural.

Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm.
