Police in Rutland say they'll be clamping down on speeding motorists during 2021

Police in Rutland say they're going to be focusing on speeding motorists in the county throughout this year.

Leicestershire Police say it's the forces primary cause of concern from members of the public.

Officers say there have been lots of reports of people going to fast in and around villages.

Paul Kear is responsible for neighbourhood policing in the area he says "We are absolutely focused on that, it's probably our primary cause of concern and correspondence from members of the public"

He continues "there's a lot of speeding concerns in and around the villages. I live in a village and I've got similar concerns"
