Peterborough United are urging fans not to invade the pitch before, during or after their League One play-off semi-final second leg.

They posted the warning on their website-

The Club would like to remind supporters ahead of our Sky Bet League One Play-Off Semi-Final second leg at the Weston Homes Stadium against Oxford United that it is a criminal offence to enter the playing area, or any area adjacent to the playing area to which spectators are not generally admitted, without lawful authority or lawful excuse under the Football Offences Act 1991.

Peterborough United Football Club condemns any such behaviour and anyone that enters the field of play will potentially face criminal prosecution and a club ban.

We would encourage supporters to enjoy the evening, make as much noise as you can and support our young team within the boundaries of the law.
