Peterborough United came from behind to close the gap at the top of League One after a 2-1 win at Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.

Ricky-Jade Jones levelled for Posh on 64 minutes after Jordan Shipley's cross-cum-shot gave the home side the lead six minutes earlier.

Darren Ferguson's men then completed the comeback 13 minutes from time when Hector Kyprianou slotted home David Ajiboye's low cross from close range.

It means with Portsmouth dropping points at home to Fleetwood, Posh are now five points behind the league leaders.

Posh will look to make it seven league games without defeat when they host Reading at the Weston Homes Stadium on Boxing Day, 3pm.
