Peterborough United are hoping for another trip to Wembley.

They are one match away from the Football League Trophy final.

Last year, the Posh won the trophy after beating Wycombe Wanderers 2 to 1.

The game this evening against Wrexham is the semi final and kicks off at 7:30pm.

To get a trip to Wembley again, I think that would be a real motivation for the players

Darren Ferguson, manager of the club, said:

"If we can get to the level of performance we got to on Saturday, that will give us the best chance of winning games regardless of the opposition."

"It's an exciting game and one from Wembley."

"I think it would be great for fans in what's been a really difficult season, and to get a trip to Wembley again, I think that would be a real motivation for the players."

"I feel the players physically are in a good place; the stats from Saturday are the highest of the whole season."

"It's going to be a tough game; we know that. They're very, very strong at home."

"Even though they've lost the last couple of league games, their league record over the season at home has been outstanding."

"But, we are looking forward to it."

If the team win they will play against Birmingham City who have secured their space in the final after winning their match against Bradford City.
