It's one week on since storm henk wreaked havoc across Peterborough, Stamford and Rutland - with roads only just starting to re-open.

South Kesteven District Council's set up a flood recovery fund worth £35,000 to help communities with their clean up operation - but one man from Peterborough has been making the most of the weather.

Tony Nero's the city's first ever photographer laureate - he says the river bursting it's banks has created some dramatic scenes for him to shoot:

"When a river bursts its banks, it reclaims the land and there's literally nothing that we can do."

"I love going out to see what's going on, and try to capture something a little bit different, maybe some a bit creative or capture a mood of what's going on - something that might evoke something.

"Seeing a bicycle totally submerged in the river - why was that bicycle there? Was it something that someone had dumped in the river, or had someone actually fallen off their bike? So that lends itself to a lot of imagination and stories."
