A drug dealer who was found with £2000 of cocaine in his car in Peterborough is starting a 4 year jail sentence
Police pulled 34-year-old Anton Oakley over while driving a black Audi A4 last July, due to the noise coming from it.
Upon a check, they found Oakley was neither a registered owner or insured with the car.
After initially giving false details, the Eastfield man was arrested after officers found three bags of cannabis and two lumps of cocaine worth an estimated £2,100 pounds in his “man bag”.
They also found a baton and a knife in his car.
Detective Constable Thomas Adams commended his officers, “This was a great spot by our traffic officers, who pulled the car over believing it may have been defective."
“Unluckily for Oakley, he was caught red handed”.
Oakley pled guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and was sentenced to 3 years and 9 months in prison, as well as a driving ban of over 3 years upon his release.
He has prior convictions for possession of cannabis, position of a knife in a public place, among other crimes.
