Peterborough Cathedral to screen King’s Coronation

People will be able to watch the live stream inside and outside

Peterborough Cathedral will live stream the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla on Saturday 6th May from 10am.

It’s the first coronation since 1953 and is being marked with a four-day Bank Holiday.

The Cathedral are encouraging people to bring their whole families to the day of events.

At 1pm there will be a community parade around Cathedral Square.

Followed by a world food picnic, where people are encouraged to pack a picnic or buy lunch from one of the world food trucks onsite.

At 4.00pm a concert will take place, with performances from Gabriella (mezzo-soprano), Lucy's Pop Choir, Peterborough Community Gospel Choir, Tu Danse, The East Timor Dance Group and poet Scott Coe.

The Coronation ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey and be conducted by The Archbishop of Canterbury.
