People are being encouraged to check the government guidance before travelling to Rutland Water.

Parts of the attraction remained open during the second lockdown, and now in tier 2, more facilities have opened up.

The mini golf club, sailing and fishing boats are open to the public, whilst the café will remain as a takeaway service.

Will Kerstein, the park manager said:

"Please respect the rules that are in place in your local area, we know it's frustrating if you are in a tier 3, particularly if tier 3 is right on the boarder.

"But we would just continue to ask our visitors to carry on being responsible in their actions.

"Everyone is looking forward to more freedom hopefully as we move towards the spring, but being able to give the freedoms that we are giving now obviously is important and hopefully bring a Christmas boost to everyone as well."
