Osprey season returns to Rutland Water
The first sighting of the year was on Saturday
Osprey season has returned to Rutland Water, for the first time this year.
The first Osprey back was seen on Saturday (12th March).
On social media, the Rutland Osprey Project say: 'We haven't yet managed to confirm an ID on which bird it is, but we hope to soon and it is all very exciting 🦅
'Meanwhile, the wait is still on for the return of Maya and 33(11).'
A live-stream of the nest at Rutland Water Nature Reserve is up and running online.
