Oakham Castle and café shut due to 'essential electrical works'

The building will reopen Friday

Oakham Castle and cafe are temporarily closed to visitors until Friday 20th October.

It is to allow essential electrical works to be undertaken.

Rutland County say they 'apologise for any inconvenience this may cause'.

The Great Hall of Oakham Castle is usually open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10am - 4ppm (last entry 3.45pm).

It is closed Bank Holidays.
