New Lib Dem ward member for Uppingham elected

Lib Dem Stephen James Lambert has been elected as a Ward Member for Uppingham following a local by-election on Thursday 5 May 2022.

Mr Lambert was elected with 661 votes and will serve as a Rutland County Councillor until the next round of normal council elections in 2023.

Result:

• Dave Ainslie, Independent – 327 votes

• Phil Bourqui, Reform UK – 36 votes

• Giles Clifton, The Conservative Party Candidate – 205 votes

• Stephen James Lambert, Liberal Democrat – 661 votes ELECTED
