People in Rutland will have an extra four weeks to submit their responses on the latest draft local plan after the Council extended the deadline until November.

It came to light that two policies relating to the St Georges garden community proposal didn't have the complete details in the plan.

The Council says this would have been picked up at a later part of the process anyway but it decided to extend the deadline now for full transparency

It means local people have extra time to submit responses on the proposals for planning policies in the area
