More than a thousand Santa's will be running at Burghley Park in Stamford today

The Stamford Santa fun run is taking place today after being cancelled last weekend due to storm Darragh.
The event is raising money for Sue Ryder's Thorpe Hall Hospice, MindSpace in Stamford and the Rotary Club.
Last year, the run raised £20,000 for charities.
After rescheduling due to weather conditions, organisers are hoping to reach their target of raising just as much this year.
It doesn't matter about the weather; we will still get it done
Event manager, Nick Wells, said:
"I think everyone was looking forward to it and was disappointed when it didn't go ahead."
"Some people are doing a virtual run."
"So they've picked up their Santa suit and will run wherever they are this weekend."
"It just shows that spirit that it doesn't matter about the weather; we will still get it done."
"I think all of the charities are struggling at the moment, so we are really pleased that we are able to help them raise money."
"I know how much it means to the charities and each year it gets harder for them."
"It's a really nice feeling to hand that money over."

Runners will be setting off at 11am in Burghley Park to take part in the annual event.
People will run or walk their choice of one of the three routes offered.
These include a 1-mile 'Elves’ Escape', 2-mile 'Reindeer Run' or a 3-mile 'Santa Special' route.
