'Mini heatwave' set to arrive in Stamford and Rutland
It could reach around 21 degrees Celsius today
The UK could see close to record breaking temperatures for March over the next few days - including in Stamford and Rutland.
Highs here are likely to hit 21-degrees today - and some places will be hotter than areas in the Mediterranean.
Alex Deakin is a Senior Meteorologist at the Met Office and told us it will only last for a few days though:
"We're going to be close to record breaking temperatures for March in some spots over the next few days.
"Tuesday and Wednesday will see the peak of those temperatures, as we could see highs of 23-24 degrees Celsius in some areas of the country.
"So, there will be plenty of fine, sunny weather over the next few days, but don't get too used to it, as temperatures should drop again for the Easter weekend.
"Just be aware of how strong the sun can be. We haven't been outdoors for quite a while, so your skin isn't used to it right now.
"Even if it's cloudy, the UV levels can penetrate that."
