Man with knife reported in Oakham
Police were called to Woodland View yesterday afternoon

A man with a knife has been reported in Oakham.
Police say they received the report shortly after 2pm yesterday (Thursday 25th).
In the 'interest of public and police safety', armed officers were deployed, but police say the man had left the area.
Enquiries into the incident are continuing and officers from the Melton and Rutland Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA) will be carrying out further proactive patrols.
Police say no developments have been made since.
