A man has been seriously injured following a fail-to-stop collision in Peterborough.

It's believed a silver Nissan Micra struck a pedestrian in Burghley Road at about 8.40pm yesterday (5th March).

The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.

The 43-year-old pedestrian was treated in hospital where he remains with life-threatening injuries.

It's thought the Nissan was travelling in convoy with a white Seat Ibiza, and heading towards Park Road, at the time of the collision.

Police are asking anyone who saw anything to get in touch with them.
