A 44 year old man has been charged with online sex offences involving children, after he was arrested in Oakham on Saturday

Mathew Verity is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (7/3).

Verity, of Goodliff Road in Grantham, has been charged with attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child, arranging/facilitating the commission of a child sex offence, causing/inciting a boy aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity and breach of a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO).

Verity was arrested by police in Oakham on Saturday (5/3) and the charges relate to offences committed online.
