Man charged following reports of assault at Peterborough Prison

A man's been charged following a violent incident at Peterborough prison.

An inmate suffered what were initially believed to have been life threatening injuries following reports of an assault yesterday morning.

The 21 year old is in a stable condition in hospital.

2\1 year old Feliciano Mendes, has been charged with assault causing GBH and is due at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court later
