Major Rutland road closed for repairs
The A6003 will be shut until Friday
There are road closures along one of Rutland's major roads this week as repairs are carried out on the A6003.
The route is closed from the Lyddington Road, Caldecott, to the junction with Lyddington Road, Uppingham.
Rutland County Council says its to allow workmen to undertake essential surface works and road safety improvements.
A diversion in place via the A47 from Uppingham, joining the A43 at Duddington before connecting to the A427 at Corby.
More police officers will be on duty in Lyddington to manage the closure.
