Leicester City's James Maddison will be part of the England team at the World Cup!

It's after speculation that the 25 year-old would be left out of Gareth Southgate's 26-man squad.

The clamour for Southgate to make space for Maddison in his squad only grew as he kept putting in match-winning performances for a struggling Leicester side.

Maddison's only England cap came as a substitute against Montenegro in November 2019 - the last squad four-cap Wilson was involved in. Since then, he's scored 28 Premier League goals.

You can check who else made the squad here.
