Lincolnshire police say they're investigating a rise in cases involving indecent images with children as young as 11 sharing explicit photos of themselves and others.

Indecent image referrals have almost doubled since May.

The number of outstanding suspects has risen from 6 to 156 in just 8 months.

Detective Sergeant Julia Baker thinks access to the internet, and children being at home during the pandemic with less to do, has led to the increase.
