Teenager arrested after lamb stolen from field in Rutland
He's since been released under investigation
A teenage boy has been questioned by police in Rutland after a lamb was stolen from a field in Pickworth.
The animal was reported missing on the afternoon of Good Friday.
Officers investigating the incident arrested a 17 year old - and enquiries are continuing.
Leicestershire Police have released the following statement:
"At around 4.45pm on Good Friday (7 April) a report was made that a lamb had been taken from a field in Pickworth, Rutland."
"Following further enquiries, a 17-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident.
"He has since been released under investigation.
"Officers have made contact with the landowner and enquiries into the incident are continuing."
