Knitted animals given to police in Stamford to comfort children
They'll be given to youngsters experiencing the likes of domestic abuse or a road traffic collision
A bundle of knitted items including mermaids, bears and ducks has been donated to the Stamford policing team.
They're to help comfort children at the scene of a crime.
They'll be used to calm frightened yougnsters who experience incidents like road traffic collisions or domestic abuse.
The items are now being used by the force after spending time in quarantine.
