Increase in council tax decided in Rutland.
From April it will go up by almost 3 per cent.
People in Rutland will see their Council tax rise by just under 3 per cent, after Councillors agreed an increase of 5 per cent was too high.
Instead 2.4 million pounds of Council reserves will be used.
That means the average increase for Council Tax on a band D property will be one pound and two pence per week.
Oliver Hemsley leader of Rutland County Council said at least 1 million pounds worth of savings will have to made made in the next twelve months.
