It'll now have to get even hotter
Last updated 29th Mar 2022
From now on, it'll have to get even hotter for a heatwave to be declared in Lincolnshire.
The Met Office is raising the threshold for the county to 27 Celsius.
Seven other counties have also seen their threshold rise - Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Surrey and Berkshire must see 28C, while it'll be 26C for East Yorkshire.
A heatwave's formally declared after three days of a certain temperature in an area.
