People living and working in Rutland are being encouraged to take part in a survey to help shape the future of the area.

The Future Rutland Conversation was launched in April to give the public the chance to have their say on how the county will look in the future.

It's being supported by Rutland County Council, which has now published a draft of the vision so residents can give more feedback.

It's been through two stages already, more than 2,000 people took part in surveys and discussions between April and June this year.

Oliver Hemsley, Leader of Rutland County Council, said: “Having asked lots of questions and listened carefully to everything people have said, the Future Rutland Conversation now wants to know what people think of the Draft Vision that’s been shaped by local residents. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t taken part in the Future Rutland Conversation before. We still want to hear from you. We want to know if the Rutland of the future that’s described in the Vision is a place you want to live.”
