40-year-old man dies after crash with lorry on A1 near Stamford
Lincolnshire Police say they're supporting the victim's family
Police are investigating the death of a 40-year old-man after he crashed into a lorry on the A1 as he travelled towards Stamford.
The Dacia Sandero he was driving crossed the central reservation near Colsterworth on Friday (3/5) at around 5:50pm and collided with an white HGV travelling in the opposite direction.
Following the incident, the road was closed for nearly 12 hours, only reopening at 6am the following morning.
Lincolnshire Police said: "The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is on-going."
"We would, once again, like to ask for any help that you may be able to offer in piecing together what happened prior to the incident."
