Double yellow lines could be introduced across Stamford.

It comes after complaints of an increase of inconsiderate parking.

There's calls for double yellow lines to be installed on several streets in Stamford.

It's after an investigation found that there is an increased need for restrictions due to inconsiderate parking.

No Waiting at Any Time restrictions could be installed on:

Burghley Lane

Drift Road, Emlyns Street

Empingham Road

Foundry Road

New Cross Road

St Georges Avenue

St Marys Street

Park Lane

West Street Gardens

However, there would be some exemptions, which will allow people waiting for disabled persons’ vehicles and to pick up/drop off people, loading or unloading of goods, the maintenance of the roads, and works in connection with the supply of gas, electricity, water and telecommunications apparatus.

The proposals are currently under consultation.
