Discussions are still ongoing to see if a Stamford GP surgery can be saved from closure.
It was thought a meeting yesterday with health bosses would reveal the fate of St Mary's Medical Centre, but the closure application wasn't heard as talks continue to see if an agreement can be reached to keep it running.
Lakeside Healthcare says it remains committed to exploring all options including a possible extension to the lease but says it CAN deliver services to all registered patients at Sheepmarket Surgery.
Until a conclusion can be reached, the application has now been 'parked'
